In 2009, Robopac Sistemi introduced - with the help of Porsche Consulting - the Lean Manufacturing method to further improve processes that are valuable for the customer.
The application of this methodology already in the product development stage has resulted in:
• reduction of the Time To Market;
• transparency in "viewing" the progress status of the job order, guaranteeing delivery with certainty;
• increasing the inherent quality of the purchased product
Since 2012 Robopac Sistemi is a member of Sedex, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange. Sedex provides member companies with a secure web-based platform for storing and sharing information on four key pillars: Health and Safety, Labour Standards, Business Ethics and The Environment. Sedex is not a standard setting body and doesn’t approve or certify our policies and standards, but elaborates a procedure called SMETA for conducting audits at suppliers as the synthesis of best practices and techniques. Instead, becoming a member of Sedex is a sign of Robopac Sistemi’s willingness to share information and to utilise this information to help manage and improve ethical standards within the supply chain.”
